Project Brief
Discovery contracted FuseBox to build an internal web application called BeYou — a gamified platform that empowers call-centre agents and managers at every level to view their stats and reports. The platform provides a feedback loop to agents to track their progress against their targets, and gives managers robust reporting tools to follow their teams seamlessly.
Gamified Internal Platform
Discovery has one of the largest call centres in South Africa, and the volume of data they generate is immense. This data is required to properly manage and reward call-centre staff. The winning formula in BeYou lies in its gamification — the system automatically sets up challenges between agents to meet targets, and a leaderboard publishes the results. Over the years BeYou has evolved into a multi-purpose tool with a growing footprint inside Discovery, while maintaining the fun, social and healthy competitive element that is key to their core philosophy.
